Police have released the 911 tapes made by Vontae Davis’ personal assistant after finding him dead in his Florida home.

The former NFL player’s death this week shocked the football community as investigators are still searching for answers about the cause behind the 35-year-old’s untimely death.

Local law enforcement officials stated that Davis’ personal assistant made the initial 911 call after a woman at the home found Davis unconscious in the home’s gym, WPLG reported.

“She has arrived and he is lying on the floor of the home,” the deputy told 911 during the call. “She froze. He called me and she didn’t even say anything – that’s why I called.”

“The last time I saw him was Friday and I know someone saw him Saturday – one of the drivers,” she told the dispatcher in another clip of the call.

The dispatcher was able to get a hold of the woman who initially made the discovery on the phone, and portions of that conversation were redacted before being released publicly.

Police have ruled that no foul play was suspected in Davis’ death.

On Tuesday, cleaning, restoration and security crews — along with investigators — were spotted at the home, which belonged to his grandmother in Southwest Ranches, Florida, WPLG reported.

Davis played in 121 games during his 10-year career, including time with the Dolphins, Colts and Bills.

He earned two Pro Bowl nods during his time with the Colts and signed a one-year contract with the Bills in 2018, but quit midway through a game in September.

Over the course of his career, Davis recorded 22 interceptions and 97 passes defended.
